What's up Dicky?

First off, everybody should vote. That would be... um, rad.

Second, if you paid any attention to the add at the top of the page, you would see that The Know How have a new cd out. It is a most awesome cd and definitely recommended by the 21deadmonkeys crew. Lots of rocking, dance-able ska, space moog-y stuff and just a more mature sound in general than their last cd. If I get time, I'll break it down track by track for you. They're also going to be touring like mad. I talked to Skylar at Ska is Dead in Detroit and he said they're looking to go out with the Planet Smashers. Excellent.

Also should mention that we're an official sponsor of Ska Weekend. Sweetness! Once again, I will mention that we're making the trip down and we're going to stuff as many people as we can into our van. That's an open invite to anybody who needs a ride. I guess I would just feel more at home if I could bring the entire Michigan scene with us. Really, what's a show without Sallad or Lauren or Mr. Hardcore Motherfuckin' Al or That Guy or all those other peoples? Not the same, that's what. Okay, group hug!

Speaking of shows of interest... I've been trying to keep the page as updated as possible. If you know of any shows that are of interest (in the Michigan area), send them in. Then we'll laugh at you. No, really, I was kidding about that. We'll post 'em, I swear.

I'm told this comic swears too much. What the fuck is up with that?

Oh yeah, I threw up the Less Than Jake tour dates. I know for sure we'll be hitting up the Pontiac and Cleveland shows. (How come Cleveland gets a House of Blues, but not Detroit?) And I know Hoss is talking about driving up to Grand Rapids again. Plus I think there's a show in Albion that I don't have posted yet. It's always fun to follow Less Than Jake around on tour because a) they're an awesome live band and b) we know Lauren and Gena will be at all those shows too! Yay for obsessives!

As for the comic, well yeah, I don't know. Let's do a vote! Just email webmaster@21deadmonkeys.com and tell us whether you'd like to see Hoss join Less Than Jake or if you think this story should just wrap it up. We'll take everybody's vote into consideration and the next comic will be based on the results.

And if you're wondering who that guy is, that's a poorly drawn Vinnie. Hoss says he doesn't have enough of a horse face to be Vinnie. Hey, it's hard. Leave me alone... until next time.
