too much fighting on the dance floor

Hey kids! Welcome to our 50th comic! Huzzah for us. I can't believe we're at fifty already. So this comic is kinda last minute (big surprise, right?). Originally we were gonna do some Good Charlotte bashing, but that got put on hold because I figured that we should do something ska related for the big 5-0. I guess we could have tried a little bit harder to make it funny too. Oh well, why start now? Anyways, help us celebrate by voting for us at buzzComix. Last I checked we had slipped out of the top 100 and that's not cool. You guys are better than that. Would it help if I started doing incentive sketches? Maybe I'll do that then. My new goal is to beat the Clown Samurai. Clowns aren't cool, nor are they funny. I've never actually read the Clown Samurai. I just picked a comic at random and that one kind of stood out... probably due to my hatred of clowns.

Anyways, you can't tell from my typing, but I'm really sick right now. I'm actually missing one of my classes as I type this. I don't know what happened. Maybe I just rocked out too much this weekend? Hoss and I went and saw the Suicide Machines on Saturday. Doors were at 4:30, we showed up at 6:30, and the whole thing was done by 8:30. Yeah, so we showed up late and missed most of the Planet Smashers. That sucked. What didn't suck was the crowd! This was the smallest crowd I've ever seen at 1) Clutch Cargo's (the venue) and 2) a Suicide Machines show. What was great though, is that it was a bunch of ska kids. That means lots of dancing, not a lot of moshing. Yay! We also saw a bunch of people we know. That's always nice. I was talking to That Guy (Matt from Project Akimbo) and he was telling me how a bunch of people emailed PA and asked for a copy of their cd. He blamed that on me! I told him I wasn't responsible, but then I was flipping through my archive and saw that I did tell people to do that.... Oops! So yeah, if you haven't checked out Project Akimbo, do so. Then email 'em and ask for a free cd. Anyways, the Suicide Machines were awesome as always, but their set was kinda short. I guess they were trying to get done early so they could hit up the Leftover Crack show done in Detroit. I didn't even know they were coming to town. Why don't you people tell me these things?

Provided I'm not dead by Wednesday, I'll be down in Toledo. I Voted for Kodos, Arrogant Sons of Bitches, and Kick-stand are playing at the Masonic Temple. And then on Saturday, IV4K, ASOB, the Ninjas and a bunch more are playing at the Neutral Zone in Ann Arbor. Hope you guys can make it out. Come say hi. It'll be fun.
