First off, I love Catch 22. A lot of people refer to either old Catch 22 or new Catch 22. I love Catch 22. At the time of this comic's writing, Catch hadn't been to the Detroit area since last year's RBF Coast to Coast Roast. At the time of this comic's drawing, they added a Detroit date to their fall tour. With any luck, I'll be at Alvin's on September 3rd. Come dance with me.

Second, you should all head over to Mysterious Matt Wixson's myspace page and listen to his song "I Hate Monkey Jacket." It's so good. Listen to it solely for the Bob Saget line.

Third, you should probably then head over to Monkey Jacket's myspace page so you'll know who the hell Mysterious Matt Wixson is singing about.

Fourth, The Vagabonds have a cd out for purchase. Listen to some of their songs here. I mention them in the hopes that they'll send me a free cd.

Fifth, I'm also going to mention the Vicars in the hopes that they'll send me a free cd as well. Their debut is available at interpunk. And they also have a myspace page. Who doesn't these days?

Sixth, Hoss chose today's sketchbook drawing. It is actually notes from one of my art history classes or something. Hoss likes the weirdest stuff in my sketchbooks.

Seventh, Hoss has a really varied choice in music. Since I've been on the computer, I've heard Elton John, Showoff, Machinehead, and Frank Sinatra. In that order no less.
