I hope you enjoyed our first presentation of Norwegian Death Metal Theater. This is based on an actual event that happened a few years back over in Europe. Lord Grishnak of the band Emperor decided that a member of another band wasn't metal enough. So one day while the other band was playing a set at a local establishment, he went there, told the man he wasn't metal enough, and shot him. Now we are not condoning his actions in the least, murder doesn't solve anything. We are taking a stab at that scene of music in general. It seems that to make it big in the Nordic metal scene, you must do things that set you apart from the others, things that are insane or depraved. For instance, another member of Emperor burnt down a church, he was just released form jail this past year I believe. I'm glad that the ska/punk scene doesn't have to resort to such tactics to gain notoriety, aren't you? Later kids, I have to go pillage the countryside so that my metal brethren will have more respect for me.
