Hey kids. So yesterday was the big MichiganSka.com Kickoff show. I got admit that I was in a really shitty mood. There was a huge fight/ordeal at my house when I left. So the 30-40 minute drive to the Token was done in tears. Then I got there and I just couldn't clear my head. Matt Wixson was awesome. Then I didn't care for the next three bands. I think I just got angry at them. No fault of their own, it's just my head was somewhere else. But Pseudo Strike completely pulled me out of my funk. They were hella tight. Seriously, it was the best show I've ever seen them play. You east coasters look for them when they tour this summer. The last band was High School Football Heroes. If you left early, you missed out. I love these guys. It also doesn't hurt that they gave 21deadmonkeys a shout out. So yeah, when I left, I was definitely in good spirits.

Okay, more important matter....

I'm gonna make you guys a deal. The Not-So-Mysterious-Anymore Matt Wixson is in the running to play the International Ska Circus in Vegas. We're gonna try and help him out. If you haven't voted, you should go here and do so. If you're wondering why you should do this, let me tell you. If Matt wins this thing (and we know he's a long shot), we'll update Monday thru Friday all through April (which is the month after the show). That means you'll get five days of 21dm semi-goodness.
