Did I mention that I'm from a small hicktown? No, for real, I am. It doesn't really take anything for me to stand out in a crowd. I've gotten weird looks and mothers have grabbed their children and run. It's fun to mess with people, though. So this one day, Hoss and I were bored and decided to drive around town. Well, I had this sharpie with me (cuz you'll never know when you need a sharpie) and I drew big black x's on my hands. Everywhere I went, people would ask what the x's were for. I guess they all thought I was part of a gang or something... Anyways, I would just say "I'm straightedge today." Then they'd give me this blank stare. "It's where you don't drink or smoke or do drugs." Then there would be an "Oh... good for- no beer? That's too bad." I guess everyone drinks in this town to forget that they live in this town.
