| Hey guys.... here's the update. 1. I'm still working both jobs and have no life. Any free time I have is spent sleeping. 2. Number one is about to change as I'm about to get laid off from one of my jobs. Of course it has to be my forty hour job. You know, my main source of income. I wanted free time but this is too much. I wanted, like, a vacation. Like a week's vacation, not a whole summer vacation. 3. So now that you've read number two, you know that I'm more hurt than ever for money. Before I email Big Ben and tell him that 21deadmonkeys isn't going to be at Ska Weekend this year, I thought I'd call on the fans to help us out. Last comic I asked for ideas and you guys responded. One of the most popular suggestions was to just straight up ask for donations from readers. I've asked Jordan to put a donation button on the site somewhere. I don't know where it will be so just look around. Hopefully it works. The second most popular idea is the one I like best. People have suggested that I put on a 21dm benefit show. I think this is a great idea seeing as we did it last year and it raised half our money for Ska Weekend. There are problems/complications with it though. Because of my work schedule, I'm not in touch with my local scene as I once was. All the bands I knew have broken up and moved on. Plus I don't have time to organize an event (I didn't even organize the first one, my friends did). So if any of you fine bands out there want to help out 21dm and put on a local benefit show in your area, we'll totally support you. Let us know how we can help you.
