it was two kids with a beat up nova,

What's up Dicky? I guess it's been awhile since we've spoke. My bad. I guess I just didn't know what to write about. If I'm feeling motivated, maybe I'll go back and fill in some spaces. I wouldn't hold your breath on that one though.

So last Thursday, the 21dm crew went down to the Happy Badger in Toledo for a show. We missed the opening band but managed to catch the Harmonics, Riki Rocksteady, and the Uncertain Five. Not the greatest of shows, but not bad either. The Harmonics weren't too shabby. They've labeled themselves Boston rocksteady. If you like ska and you have a significant other who likes ska, you should both put on your best vintage and go to a Harmonics show and dance the night away. Riki Rocksteady was a bit more up tempo and had one of those reggae voices. Probably my fave of the night and I ended up picking up his cd. Last up was local boys, the Uncertain Five. These guys have switched vocalists since the last time I've seen them. Amazingly enough, I still have the same view of them as before. They play good music and they have super stage energy. In fact, they could be a really good ska core band, but I just can't get past the all the screaming. In fact the Baron made the comment that if they took out the ska, they could be a good hardcore band. And Hoss remarked that they're like a less fucked up Mr Bungle. Oh yeah, the Uncertain Five have some real assholes for fans. Whatever.

Also, if you check the shows of interest page, you'll see some good upcoming shows at the Happy Badger. One of them being Streetlight Manifesto on March 23. I was talking to the guy who runs the Happy Badger and he has no idea who Streetlight Manifesto are. I told him they are awesome and it will be a good show. Don't make me out to be a liar. It's twelve bucks. And even though it's in the state of Ohio, it's still going to be fun. We'll throw the after party at our house. Kid and Play will show up. We'll play the drunken hair cut game. And then it'll be a group cuddle.

Um... getting away from the cuddling... on Friday night, the 21dm crew went looking for adventure again! We went and saw Constantine. I really liked it and kinda want to see it again. The only thing I didn't like was how crappy the demons looked. You would've thought my biggest problem was Keanu Reeves, but I thought he did okay. Plus Shia LaBeouf was in it. You know, that kid from Holes. Yeah, so this movie was really great. It was like a combination of The Care Bears Movie and The Poseidon Adventure.

Oh yeah, I don't know what's going on with the comic. I guess it's sort of a story line. Only thing is we have no idea where it's going. I mean, there's only so much you can do after you kill off one of your main characters. Okay, later.

off the train,
