Today without a doubt has been one of the worst days ever. First off, today was supposed to be my day off, instead I was asked to come in at 6am. So I had to get up at 4:30am so I could get there on time, thus negating any chance of sleep. I get there and it's putting stock away as normal, but then after we are done with that rather than just bum around til my shift ends like I normally do, we start cleaning up the store for some big corporate visit or something. It's not bad until I cut my arm on a random piece of metal. It wasn't deep, but was annoying enough when lifting stuff the rest of the day. Then for no reason my right knee decides that it doesn't want to work, and I am in extreme pain. It only lasted for a couple of minutes, but when you are on top of a ladder and your leg decides to not work, its kinda hard to keep your balance. As if things can't get worse we are throwing out some old metal rack and I manage to slice my hand open. Now unlike the cut to the arm, this one does some substantial damage. And it is on the palm of my hand, which makes it very difficult to lift anything for the rest of the day, luckily my shift was over an hour after I cut my hand. Yeah a pretty crappy day all in all, but it isn't over yet. I got beat up phsyically at work all day, so emotionally someone had to get their shot in. A girl I like just had to be that person. But I ain't gonna go into details here, I know you guys don't wanna hear about it. Besides, that's what my livejournal (emo kids of the world unite, no I am not emo) account is for. So despite all of this crud, there was a bright moment today. When Boston and I went to check the P.O. box, there were five entries for the contest in there. ROCK! Just to let you guys know, I have come up with a standard for judging finally. My niece Aurora has kindly colored a picture, it is the standard by which you will all be judged. Ok, I am out of here, I have to go rock out to Testament.
